Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how The Falling Starship ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use our Android mobile game. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or store:

• Your name, email address, or contact information
• Your location data
• Photos, files, or media from your device
• Contacts or calendar data
• Microphone or camera input

All game preferences and progress (music settings, child mode, level completion) are stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences and are never transmitted to any server.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the App displays banner and interstitial advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain data to serve ads, including:

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
• IP address and approximate location
• Device type, OS version, and language
• Ad interaction data (views, clicks)

This data is collected and processed by Google under their own privacy policy. You can review it at policies.google.com/privacy.

Ad-free option: Users may purchase the "Remove Ads" in-app product to permanently disable all advertisements. After purchase, no ad SDK requests are made.

In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The App offers an optional in-app purchase ("Remove Ads") processed entirely through Google Play Billing. We do not handle, store, or have access to your payment details. All purchase transactions are managed by Google under their Terms of Service.

Purchase status is stored locally on your device to suppress ads after a confirmed purchase.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

The App is intended for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13 by default. When Child Mode is activated in Settings, the App configures Google AdMob for child-directed treatment in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party SDKs:

• Google AdMob — Advertising. Privacy Policy
• Google Play Billing — In-app purchases. Terms of Service
• LibGDX — Open-source game framework. No data collection.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their policies.

Data Security

Since the App does not transmit personal data to our own servers, the primary data security considerations relate to your device's local storage and to the third-party SDKs listed above. We recommend keeping your device and OS up to date.

Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights regarding your data, including:

• The right to access data held about you
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to opt out of personalized advertising

To opt out of personalized ads, you can reset or limit your Advertising ID in your Android device settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads.

For data held by Google AdMob or Google Play, please contact Google directly via their privacy tools.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
